About Michael

Michael Romaine Sr. was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. He initially attended Indiana University Southeast where he played one year of college basketball. He transferred to Kentucky State University and graduated in May of 1994 with a BA in Business Management.

Upon graduation he entered the financial world working for the Associates Financial Services. In 2004 he took a position with Northwestern Mutual as Financial Advisor. Over the next 17 years he began his journey as a Wealth Management Advisor while earning recognition from his company and peers. In 2017 he passed his board exam to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional. He also has earned his RICP, ChFC, CLU and CLTC.

Michael formed I-3 Planning LLC in 2018, a privately owned financial planning firm. In 2020, he accepted an opportunity to join Capital Financial Group, a financial firm, based in Brentwood, Tennessee.

Michael is married to Renee Romaine, and they have two children: Michael Jr (21) and Myles (16). He enjoys time with his family, working out, playing basketball and watching sports.
